    BLACK EYE is a hard rock band that hails from the Waterloo-Cedar Falls, Iowa area. Formed in 1998, BLACK EYE has become one of the hottest live acts in eastern Iowa.

    BLACK EYE's original music consists of heavy-driven melodic material. Pounding drum beats, a booming bass, and brick-wall guitars lay the foundation for the powerful machine-gun vocals. These true musicians have created an interesting blend of styles while drawing from such influences as Tool, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Led Zeppelin and Korn. But don't let these great influences deceive, BLACK EYE's originals have a new taste that only leaves the crowd craving more.

    BLACK EYE believes live metal music is not dead and proves it every night by playing a most energetic, active and original type of show. If 10,000 fans show up or just a few, no matter what happens, the band motors at peak power at all times. A solid "never say die" attitude has established a strong credibility among themselves, the fans, clubs/bars, and other musicians/bands.

    BLACK EYE also plays a variety of rock cover tunes, which are done to please everyone at each particular gig. This versatility enables the band to play the "original club" (1 hour) type gig as well as the "original/cover bar" (4 hour) type show. The band keeps a consistent busy calendar conducting business in this manner.

    BLACK EYE has now entered the next level by releasing a self-titled debut Cd. Released in May 2000, it contains 11 original songs written and performed by BLACK EYE. Currently, the band is touring on and off, hitting new major city regions and markets. Dig in and get prepared for some damage?
